The development of production patterns comprises pattern creation, modeling, grading, marker making, plotting, and CNS-cutter control file generation.
The main features of Comtense CAD system are its high automation level, software reliability, the possibility to use standard solutions, user-friendly interface and flexible settings.
The software modules and peripherals can be chosen and tuned for every customer individually, taking into account the production range, output and turnout. However, in most cases it is reasonable to use one of the standard Comtense software versions.
| Indiv – a version for pattern designers who make and grade patterns. The version uses narrow plotters and printers to print out garment patterns. |
| Atelier – a version for workshops and design studios, which work out pattern models and grade patterns. Full functionality in pattern creation, modeling, grading and styling is enabled in this version. |
| Enterprise – the most popular solutions for average and large sewing factories, which use the traditional (manual) cutting. Together with all the functionalities in pattern creation, modeling, grading and styling, the version has got the functionality for marker making and layout creation, considering all the provisions of the factory. |
| Enterprise / 2 – the main difference from “Enterprise” is that it can be installed on 2 workstations: one is for fashion designer; the other is for fashion designer and marker-maker. The module for ISO-file creation to control CNC-cutters is included in this version. |
| Furniture+ – a special version for upholstered furniture producers. It incorporates all the functionalities to create patterns and make markers. It can also be used by automobile seats and soft toys producers. |
